Parliament Security Breach: Four Arrested, Sent to 7-Day Custody for Questioning

Four individuals involved in the alarming security breach at Parliament were remanded to seven days of police custody for thorough interrogation. Sagar Sharma and D Manoranjan were apprehended inside the Lok Sabha after releasing thick yellow smoke from smuggled canisters, inducing temporary panic. Despite being overpowered by MPs and security personnel, the duo managed to ignite smoke bombs before their capture.

Additionally, Neelam Devi and Amol Shinde, unable to secure visitors’ passes, resorted to shouting slogans and carrying smoke bombs outside Parliament. All four individuals, implicated in the breach, now face charges under stringent anti-terror legislation, emphasizing the gravity of their actions in compromising parliamentary security. Authorities aim to delve deeper into their motives and connections through this extended custody for questioning.
