Phuwin Named Loewe Global Brand Ambassador
Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe has appointed Thai actor and singer Phuwin Tangsakyuen as its new global brand ambassador. Born in Bangkok in 2003, Phuwin joins American actress Julia Garner and English-born actor Spike Fearn in the house’s ambassador line-up under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.
The creative directors said Phuwin’s ability to move naturally between acting and music made him a strong fit for Loewe’s creative philosophy. Phuwin, who gained recognition through the Thai series Fish Upon the Sky, has continued to build his television career with productions including Me and Thee. He praised Loewe’s commitment to craftsmanship and its balance between traditional handwork and a contemporary perspective.
Founded in Madrid in 1846, Loewe is part of French luxury conglomerate LVMH, which also owns brands including Dior, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Bulgari. Loewe’s main operating company, Loewe SA, reported a 9.2% increase in sales in its latest financial year, reaching a turnover of €885.2 million.
