PM Modi, US president Trump’s daughter Ivanka inaugurate GES

The eighth edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit has been inaugurated by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the US president Donald Trump’s daughter and advisor, Ivanka Trump.

The summit is taking place in Hyderabad situated in the Indian state of Telangana. The summit would help the budding entrepreneurs to learn the techniques used by the established entrepreneurs and would also enable them to find necessary network in the field in which they have ventured into.

This is the first time the GES is organised in the South Asian region. It seems that the summit would help nourish the country’s entrepreneurship culture.

While speaking at an event organised by the authorities of GES as a part of the summit, Ms Ivanka has pointed out how important it is to create those public policies which can ensure equal opportunities for men and women in the start-up entrepreneurship segment.

The president’s daughter has added that there are many financial advantages in establishing the gender equality in the segment.

As per the president’s advisor’s view, the act of balance of gender gap in this segment is not only a social responsibility, but also a financial responsibility.
