Raeburn Relocates to London Design District, Signals Return to Remade Roots

British sustainable fashion brand Raeburn has relocated its studio from East London to a permanent new base in Design District, Greenwich North, marking what the brand calls a “milestone moment” and the start of a new chapter. The move places Raeburn among more than 170 creative businesses at the purpose-built hub dedicated to design, culture, and innovation.

Founder Christopher Raeburn said the new environment aligns closely with the brand’s long-standing ethos of Remade, Reduce, and Recycle, describing the Design District as a future-facing creative community that reflects Raeburn’s values. While the new studio is smaller, the brand will continue to host student visits, public studio tours, and craft workshops, reinforcing its commitment to education, collaboration, and community engagement.

The relocation has also prompted a strategic reassessment of the brand’s direction as it approaches its 18th year. Raeburn said the label will refocus on the “heart and soul” of its origins—reworking surplus and military materials such as parachutes and life rafts into innovative garments—while remaining independent and collaborative. The renewed emphasis on remade design and experimentation, he noted, is central to Raeburn’s ambition to continue driving meaningful change in responsible fashion at a global scale.
