The actor took to his social media account, X (formerly Twitter), on Monday to address the issue, stating, “I’m hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger 3. This is dangerous. Let’s enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe.” The video has sparked criticism on social media, with many expressing concern for the safety of the audience as some people ignited crackers while others fled for safety inside the cinema.
This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has faced such an incident. Similar events occurred during the release of his movie Antim: The Final Truth, where fans set off firecrackers inside a hall. Salman had condemned the behavior, urging his fans not to bring firecrackers into auditoriums due to the potential fire hazard. He also requested theater owners to prevent the entry of firecrackers and ensure security measures to stop such actions. Despite his previous appeals, the recent incident during Tiger 3 has reignited the discussion about the need for stricter measures to ensure the safety of cinema-goers.
Tiger 3, the third installment of the successful Tiger franchise, has made an impressive gross of ₹44.5 crore on its opening day in India. The film, part of the YRF Spy Universe alongside War and Pathaan, features Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi.
