Sand Artist Manas Sahoo Pays Tribute To Queen Elizabeth On Puri Beach

The entire globe is paying respect to Queen Elizabeth, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 96 in Scotland’s Balmoral Castle. Manas Sahoo, a well-known sand artist from Puri in Odisha, has added his name to this list by paying tribute to the queen at Golden Sea Beach with a stunning, sizable sand sculpture.

On Twitter, Mr. Sahoo posted an image of his artwork. “My passionate tribute to her majesty Queen Elizabeth II through my sandart at Puri Beach Odisha,” he stated alongside the photo when uploading it. A lovely, floral-decorated picture of the queen can be seen in the sand art. On Friday, Sudarsan Pattnaik, a well-known sand artist, also produced a sizable and exquisite sculpture of the queen. On Puri Beach, he added 740 roses to the artwork.

Mr Pattnaik shared a picture of the artwork on his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Heartfelt Tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the world has lost a great personality. My Sand Art with installation of 740 roses at Puri beach in India.”

Since the post was published on social media, it has gotten over 1,800 likes and hundreds more shares. In the post’s comment section, some readers expressed their sincere sympathies while others made fun of the artist for showing respect for the British.

Over the course of his more than 16-year career, Mr. Sahoo has taken part in numerous exhibitions of sand art both domestically and abroad.
