SMCP Expands Sandro Footprint Across Latin America With New Store Openings
French fashion group SMCP is accelerating its expansion in Latin America by strengthening the regional presence of its contemporary label Sandro, with two new stores opening this month and more planned in the coming year. The move underscores SMCP’s strategy to tap into high-potential international markets through selective retail growth and local partnerships.
On December 10, Sandro marked its official entry into Chile with the opening of its first store in Santiago, in partnership with Leuru Group. Located in the Parque Arauco shopping centre, the 142-square-metre boutique offers the brand’s latest collections and represents what the company described as a key milestone in laying the foundation for long-term growth in the Chilean market.
Earlier this month, Sandro also opened its 21st store in Mexico, partnering with Retail Fashion Group for the launch. The 159-square-metre boutique is situated in Ánima Village, a new shopping and cultural complex in the tourist destination of Los Cabos. Following its debut in Buenos Aires in October, the brand plans to continue its Latin American expansion with upcoming store openings in Uruguay and Paraguay, according to the company.
