Stones Thrown At Crew Of Actor Emraan Hashmi’s Film In J&K, 1 Arrested

In the Jammu and Kashmir region of Anantnag, a young person was detained on suspicion of throwing stones at the film team of the “Ground Zero” movie, which stars Emraan Hashmi, authorities said on Tuesday.
According to certain media sources, the incident occurred on Sunday while the crew was filming in the Pahalgam region, and the actor was hurt.

However, Emraan Hashmi claimed that the reports were “inaccurate.” It has been an amazing pleasure to shoot in Srinagar and Pahalgam since the people of Kashmir have been so friendly and hospitable. It is untrue that I was hurt during a stone-pelting incident.

The Anantnag police reported in a tweet that a man threw stones at the team members on September 18 after the movie shooting wrapped up at 7:15 p.m.

“Accordingly, Police Station Pahalgam received FIR No. 77/2022. The criminal was located and taken into custody “It read.

For the past two weeks, Mr. Hashmi and the film crew have been filming “Ground Zero” in Kashmir without encountering any problems. According to the authorities, the incident in Pahalgam was singular and only one person was involved.

The actor denied claims that he suffered injuries as a result of the encounter.

“It has been an amazing pleasure to shoot in Srinagar and Pahalgam since the people of Kashmir have been so friendly and hospitable. It’s untrue that I was hurt during a stone-throwing incident, “tweeted the actor.
