The new deputy police chief for Penang is Rusdi Mohd Isa

As of August 7, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa has been named the new deputy chief of police for Penang by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).

Rusdi was formerly the deputy director of the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (Investigation/Legal), according to a statement from PDRM secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin.

SAC Mohamad Usuf Jan Mohamad, the principal assistant director of Bukit Aman CCID (Fraud/Investment Syndicate Investigation), was chosen to fill Rusdi’s position after his appointment.

Muhammad Usuf would begin performing his responsibilities as the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department’s deputy director of Investigation/Legislation on August 7 with the rank of DCP, she added.
