Shah Alam police detain seven further suspects after a body is discovered in a car trunk

To aid in the investigation into the Tuesday discovery of an Indonesian man’s body tied up and covered in a black plastic sheet in the trunk of a car stopped on the side of the road close to Taman Sri Orkid, Section 30, the police detained seven more suspects.

Supt. Ramsay Anak Embol, the deputy police commander in Shah Alam, announced that all of the suspects, who are all Indonesians, will be held in custody for seven days starting today.

As part of the inquiry into how the corpse was discovered, the police detained four suspects, among them an Indonesian woman, according to a previous report from Bernama.

The act is thought to have been motivated by envy, thus all the suspects were jailed until July 10 and will be subject to a Section 302 of the Penal Code investigation.

Members of the public passing by the area smelled something awful coming from a black Honda City that was alleged to have been there for several days, and they called the police, who then got a word that a corpse had been found.
