Unidentified man sets Kyoto animation studio on fire

An unidentified man has set a world famous animation studio in the Japanese city of Kyoto on fire. As many as 26 people, mostly the staffs of the studio, have been died in the fire. Several people have also been injured in the unfortunate incident. The injured people have been hospitalised in the nearby hospitals.

Interestingly, the authorities have not found yet why the studio has been burned by the man. As per a local media report, the suspect has no relation with the studio.

As the rescue operations progress, more deaths are likely to be reported in the coming hours. There are more than seventy employees in the studio. Many of them are missing since the incident, as per a report.

The fans of the studio have expressed their sadness and anger through their social media handles.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has offered his condolences to the families of those affected in the unfortunate incident.

The three storey studio building has almost completely damaged in the fire. The rescue forces are working heavily to bring the situation under control.

The suspect, who has also suffered some injuries in the fire, has also been hospitalised by the authorities.

The authorities will question the suspect in details once he is discharged from the hospital. Though he has been briefly questioned just before his admission to the hospital, noting much has been received from him.
