Veteran Actor Naseeruddin Shah Expresses Displeasure Over Unwanted Selfies at Delhi Airport

In a recent incident at the Delhi airport, celebrated actor Naseeruddin Shah found himself in an uncomfortable situation when several individuals, presumably fans and paparazzi, attempted to take selfies with him without his consent. The actor, known for his versatile roles in Indian cinema, was visibly upset as he was recorded scolding the people involved. Dressed casually in a brown shirt, denims, and with a sweater wrapped around his neck, Shah was heard saying, “Mood kharab kardiya aap logo ne. Samajhte nahi hain aap log ek dafa baat ki jaaye (You have spoiled my mood. You don’t understand when told once).” Despite the assurances from those behind the camera that such incidents would not recur, Shah continued to express his frustration as he exited the airport premises.

The video of the episode quickly spread across social media platforms, sparking a conversation about the boundaries between public figures and their fans. Many internet users came forward to support Shah, highlighting the importance of respecting an individual’s personal space regardless of their celebrity status. Comments flooded in criticizing the intrusive behavior of some fans and paparazzi and emphasized that celebrities, too, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
