Gangster Thrashed in Court for Pro-Pakistan Slogans After Threatening Union Minister

A dramatic incident unfolded in the district court of Belagavi on Wednesday when gangster Jayesh Pujari, who had been arrested for threatening Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and a senior IPS officer, was thrashed by attendees for raising pro-Pakistan slogans. Pujari, currently lodged in Hindalga Central Prison, raised the controversial slogans during his court appearance, leading to immediate retaliation from the public and advocates present.

According to police, Pujari had previously threatened to bomb Gadkari’s Nagpur office and demanded ransom from prison. He was produced in court in connection with issuing life threats to Karnataka IPS officer Alok Kumar. Sources suggest that Pujari raised the slogans out of frustration at not being allowed to present his case before the court. The situation escalated quickly, resulting in the police having to intervene and rescue him from the enraged crowd.

Following the incident, Pujari was taken to the APMC police station, and authorities have stated that a separate case will be lodged against him for his provocative actions in court. The event has drawn significant attention, highlighting the volatile atmosphere in the courtroom and the severe public backlash against any anti-national sentiments.
