The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen Unveil Lightweight, Modular SS26 Collaboration

The North Face has teamed up with Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen for a third season of their collaboration, debuting during Bahnsen’s spring/summer 2026 show in Paris. The collection introduces a lighter, more modular approach to technical apparel, blending The North Face’s outdoor expertise with Bahnsen’s romantic and fluid aesthetic. Designed for warmer days, the line emphasizes adaptability, layering, and garments that evolve with the wearer, reflecting a natural, personal, and intimate style.

Key pieces in the seven-piece collection highlight modularity and transformation. A floral-print ripstop jacket with detachable sleeves converts into a gilet, while matching trousers can be turned into shorts. Olive-coloured embossed ripstop items, including a pullover with a drawstring waist and a long hybrid coat with sculptural lines, offer innovative wind protection. The collection’s floral motifs provide a cohesive thread throughout, reinforcing Bahnsen’s signature aesthetic within technical silhouettes.

Footwear also receives a creative twist with the “shandal,” a hybrid sandal-shoe adorned with Bahnsen’s floral appliqué. The collection will be available on The North Face website, at select stores, and through global retailers in spring/summer 2026, continuing the brands’ shared exploration of form, function, and modularity.
