Chanel Brings Alpine Winter Elegance to Harrods with Festive Chalet
Chanel has unveiled a Swiss-style festive chalet at London’s luxury department store Harrods, bringing the charm of snowy mountain landscapes and alpine elegance to its holiday shopping experience. Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s love of the mountains and the timeless sophistication of St. Moritz, the installation will remain open until the end of November. Located near Harrods’ prominent Door 6 entrance, the chalet showcases the Chanel Holiday 2026 Collection, featuring exclusive fragrance, beauty products and luxury gifting experiences.
Visitors can explore the newly launched Les Eaux de Chanel Paris-St. Moritz fragrance, created by perfumer Olivier Polge and featuring delicate pear notes. The experience also includes a personalised Polaroid photograph presented in a festive keepsake. Exclusive gift sets combine full-size beauty products with special Métiers d’Art Christmas tree ornaments, with select luxury offerings priced above £2,000. The collection also features limited-edition lip glosses, lipsticks with festive charms, a special Chanel No. 5 fragrance featuring a fluffy white knitted cap, and a highlighter embossed with a ski-lift-inspired design.
The festive collection, launched last month, is supported by a campaign fronted for the first time by Chanel fashion ambassador Margaret Qualley in a beauty campaign for the brand. A playful promotional film, shot in the Swiss resort of St. Moritz, captures the collection’s winter-inspired spirit and alpine influences. Through the Harrods chalet, Chanel combines seasonal storytelling, exclusive beauty offerings and immersive retail experiences to bring a touch of luxury mountain glamour to the festive shopping season.
