Ajith Kumar Shines at Dubai 24H Race with Third-Place Finish

Ajith Kumar, celebrated actor and motor racing enthusiast, made a triumphant return to motorsport by securing third place in the 991 category at the prestigious Dubai 24H race. The actor also earned the Spirit of the Race award in the GT4 category, marking a remarkable comeback after a brake failure incident during practice. Videos circulating on social media captured Ajith waving the Indian flag as his wife Shalini, daughter Anoushka, and actor R. Madhavan cheered him on.
The actor’s team announced the victory on X (formerly Twitter), sharing, “Double whammy for Ajith Kumar. 3rd place in the 991 category and Spirit of the Race in the GT4 category. What a remarkable comeback after an accident due to brake failure.” Ajith’s car spun seven times in a high-speed crash last week, but the actor emerged unscathed. His manager, Suresh Chandra, confirmed that Ajith was “hale and healthy” despite the crash at 180 km/h.
On the professional front, Ajith is gearing up for two upcoming films: Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, and Good Bad Ugly, helmed by Adhik Ravichandran. While the latter is slated for an April 10 release, fans await updates on the release date for Vidaamuyarchi.
