Alia Bhatt Debuts as Children’s Book Author with “Ed Finds a Home”

In a heartwarming Father’s Day celebration, actress Alia Bhatt unveiled her first children’s book, “Ed Finds a Home,” on Instagram. Sharing her joy with fans, Alia posted a picture of herself holding the book, expressing her lifelong dream of writing for children. “Ed Finds a Home” is part of a new series from the Ed-a-Mamma universe, inspired by Alia’s own childhood filled with stories and storytellers.

The book tells the touching story of Ed, a dog full of love and hope despite being homeless, and a kind little girl named Alia with a secret superpower. Their meeting transforms both their lives, making Ed Alia’s safest place and helping Alia become her best self. Priced at ₹259 on Amazon and ₹299 on Edamamma’s official website, the book is now available online and in major bookstores.

Illustrated by Tanvi Bhat, known for her watercolour and gouache illustrations, “Ed Finds a Home” marks Alia Bhatt’s foray into children’s literature. Alia, celebrated for her roles in films like “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “Dear Zindagi,” continues to expand her creative horizons. She is married to actor Ranbir Kapoor, and they have a one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor.
