Amer Sports Raises Q3 Revenue Outlook, Reaffirms Long-Term Growth Targets
Amer Sports, the owner of Arc’teryx, Salomon and Wilson, has raised its third-quarter revenue growth outlook, reflecting continued strong performance across its three business segments. The company now expects year-over-year sales growth of 20% to 22%, up from its previous forecast of 18% to 20%.
The company also expects its third-quarter adjusted operating margin to come in slightly above the upper end of its earlier guidance range of 13.5% to 14%. CEO James Zheng said the company’s portfolio of premium sports and outdoor brands continues to deliver strong financial results despite challenging market conditions, supported by growth across all three segments.
Amer Sports reaffirmed its five-year financial targets, projecting annual group revenue growth in the low double digits to mid-teens. Its technical apparel and outdoor performance segments are each expected to achieve mid-teens annual growth, while the ball and racquet segment is forecast to grow at a mid-to-high single-digit rate. Arc’teryx, Salomon softgoods and Wilson tennis 360 remain the company’s three key growth engines, underpinning its long-term outlook, CFO Andrew Page said.
