Unique Business Club: Dr. Ajit Ravi’s Vision for Leadership Beyond Success

Unique Business Club (UBC) is emerging as a platform built around a different idea of leadership — one that extends beyond achievement towards social responsibility and philanthropy. An initiative of the Federal International Chamber Forum (FICF), the Unique Business Club is envisioned by Dr. Ajit Ravi, under the guidance of FICF Chairman Shri Gokulam Gopalan and Patron Shri V. P. Nandakumar. The initiative aims to bring accomplished individuals together to contribute their experience, resources and collective strength towards meaningful community outcomes.

At the centre of the Unique Business Club vision are three core principles — Integrity and Trust, Leadership and Excellence, and Service and Impact. Through these principles, UBC seeks to encourage community service, philanthropy, empowerment and global development. The initiative brings together a diverse community of entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors, professionals, startup founders and corporate leaders, creating opportunities for collective participation in initiatives that extend beyond individual achievement.

The philanthropic component forms an important part of the Unique Business Club framework. A voluntary annual contribution of ₹50,000 per member is outlined, with 75% directed towards women empowerment, social and sports causes. The UBC allocation model further identifies charity and community service, UBC programmes and emergency support, while highlighting financial transparency and audited records. With the philosophy Connect, Collaborate, Contribute and Create Impact, the Unique Business Club presents Dr. Ajit Ravi’s vision of creating a wider community where leadership can be translated into service and measurable social impact.
