Balenciaga and Manolo Blahnik Unite for Autumn/Winter 2026 Footwear Collaboration
Balenciaga has teamed up with luxury footwear label Manolo Blahnik for a special collaboration celebrating the brands’ “dual Spanish roots” and shared “elegance of craft.” Designed in partnership with Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the capsule introduces three shoe styles for the fashion house’s autumn/winter 2026 collection, paying tribute to the enduring legacy of Balenciaga founder Cristóbal Balenciaga.
The Balenciaga x Manolo Blahnik collection includes a low-heeled mule and a slingback offered with either a 105mm or 50mm heel. Inspired by archival Manolo Blahnik designs selected by Piccioli and reinterpreted for Balenciaga’s modern silhouette language, each style features a décolleté cut that reveals skin—reflecting Piccioli’s creative approach at the house. Crafted in silk satin, the shoes arrive in multiple colours including black and emerald green, finished with Balenciaga grey lining.
Adding a signature touch, crystal embroidery decorates the low-cut vamp, echoing Blahnik’s jewel-like shoe aesthetic while referencing 1960s bijoux created by Cristóbal Balenciaga. Manolo Blahnik called the project a “lifelong dream,” praising Balenciaga’s founder as “the ultimate designer,” while CEO Kristina Blahnik described the partnership as a celebration of shoemaking artistry, where heritage inspires innovation and results in styles that feel “both timeless and incredibly modern.”
