Coperni Launches Probiotic-Infused “Carewear” Line Blending Fashion and Skincare

French luxury label Coperni has unveiled its latest innovation, a biotech-driven athleisure line called C+, merging fashion, beauty, and science. Known for pushing boundaries with spray-on dresses and robot-assisted runway moments, the brand now introduces “carewear”, a category of clothing designed to deliver skincare benefits through probiotic-infused fabrics. The launch campaign stars model Paloma Elsesser, highlighting the collection’s minimalist design and second-skin comfort.

Developed in collaboration with Swiss textile biotech pioneer HeiQ, the C+ line incorporates a patented synbiotic blend of probiotics and prebiotics embedded within a biobased slow-release matrix. Each gram of fabric carries up to 140,000 live beneficial bacteria (CFU/g), which transfer to the skin through body heat, friction, and movement. This process is said to help rebalance the skin’s microbiome, reinforce its natural barrier, and support self-repair, all while maintaining softness, breathability, and durability. The fabrics are dermatologically tested, non-irritating, and produced from upcycled, non-GMO sources, adhering to global sustainability standards.

The debut C+ collection features three versatile pieces—leggings, a bodysuit, and a long-sleeve top—available in black and grey. Prices range between €150 and €180 (USD 175–195), with the garments positioned as “a skincare gesture you wear.” Coperni advises regular use to maximize benefits, noting that effects remain visible even after up to 40 washes. Pre-orders are now open on the brand’s website, with deliveries expected to begin mid-November.
