Kujten Earns B Corp Certification as It Accelerates U.S. Expansion

French cashmere brand Kujten has achieved B Corp certification after an 18-month evaluation process, reinforcing its commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The certification comes shortly after the company received the EcoVadis Committed badge, recognizing its efforts in sustainable business practices, responsible sourcing, employee welfare, and corporate governance. Co-founder Carole Benaroya described the achievement as the result of a company-wide effort involving all departments and reflecting the brand’s long-standing commitment to ethical practices within the cashmere industry.

The milestone coincides with strong commercial growth for the Paris-based label, which reported revenues of approximately €100 million in 2025, up significantly from €60 million the previous year. Following the opening of its first U.S. store on Madison Avenue in New York in 2025, Kujten is now planning to open three additional stores in the United States. The American market has become increasingly important for the brand, accounting for 25 percent of its online sales, while France remains its largest market. Kujten currently operates around 40 boutiques in France and 20 international points of sale across countries including Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, and Luxembourg.

Positioning itself between premium and luxury fashion, Kujten believes it is benefiting from changing consumer preferences as shoppers seek better value and quality amid rising luxury prices. The brand continues to strengthen its international visibility through exclusive collaborations and experiential marketing initiatives. For Spring/Summer 2026, Kujten partnered with Maiô Paris on a swimwear capsule collection, while also transforming Cybèle Beach in Ramatuelle into a seasonal showcase featuring its signature design motifs. The initiative is aimed particularly at attracting international visitors, supporting the company’s growing ambitions in the U.S. market.
