Louis Vuitton Partners with Real Madrid for Exclusive Off-Field Wardrobe Designed by Pharrell Williams

In a landmark move blending sports and luxury fashion, Louis Vuitton has announced a multiyear partnership with Real Madrid’s soccer and basketball teams. This marks the French fashion house’s first foray into outfitting athletes beyond the field, with the formal wardrobe — including ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories — designed by men’s creative director Pharrell Williams. The collaboration further cements Vuitton’s positioning at the crossroads of culture, fashion, and elite sports, bringing star players like Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Thibaut Courtois, and Vinícius Júnior into the luxury fold.

Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuitton’s CEO and a former pro soccer player, described the alliance as a natural fit, combining “football royalty and luxury royalty.” Real Madrid, known for its relentless pursuit of excellence, sees the partnership as a reflection of shared values, legacy, and global influence. While the collection will not be available for retail purchase, fans can experience a touch of the collaboration by customizing classic Louis Vuitton items with club colors via the Mon Monogram service.

The timing of the announcement, just ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S., highlights Vuitton’s growing role in sports, following similar deals with FIFA, NBA, Formula 1, and the Olympic Games. With no branding inside the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the partnership focuses on dressing Real Madrid’s teams during official events and travel, reinforcing Louis Vuitton’s commitment to being part of athletes’ cultural and style journeys on a global scale.
