Trademark Violation Sparks Outrage: Pegasus Warns Against Fake Miss South India & Mrs South India Pageants
The acclaimed Miss South India and Mrs South India pageants, founded by Dr. Ajit Ravi and trademarked under the Pegasus banner, have become symbols of empowerment and cultural pride for South Indian women. Over the past two decades, these pageants have consistently upheld their reputation through transparent processes and dignified representation.
In a troubling development, Pegasus has flagged multiple instances of unauthorized events being conducted using the same titles. These counterfeit events, lacking any legitimacy, are not only misleading contestants but also eroding the credibility built by the original organization. “Creating a genuine platform takes years of hard work. Hijacking our identity for personal gain is unacceptable,” said a Pegasus representative.
Dr. Ajit Ravi expressed serious concern and confirmed that legal steps are underway. He urged the public to stay informed and avoid falling prey to fraudulent events. “We will not tolerate misuse of our brand. Miss South India and Mrs South India are and will remain exclusive to Pegasus,” he affirmed.
