Mulberry Launches Sustainable Leather Collection to Mark 55-Year Milestone

British luxury brand Mulberry has unveiled a limited-edition accessories collection in collaboration with Pasture For Life, celebrating its 55th anniversary alongside five years of its ‘Made To Last Manifesto’. The collection highlights a fully traceable and sustainable leather supply chain, using hides sourced exclusively from 100% pasture-fed British cattle raised on regenerative farms in southwest England. The initiative underscores Mulberry’s commitment to circularity and environmentally responsible craftsmanship.

The leather is processed within the UK, with tanning carried out in Bristol at one of the country’s last remaining tanneries, before being finished by a family-run business in Northamptonshire. The collection reflects a broader industry shift toward localized production, coinciding with similar “Made in Britain” initiatives such as those recently introduced by Paul Smith. Mulberry emphasized that the partnership aims not only to support sustainable agriculture but also to revive and reconnect the British leather industry from farm to consumer.

The range includes four designs blending heritage and modern appeal: the Boston bag in Antique Oak, the iconic Bayswater in Vintage Ebony, along with a Darley Cosmetic Pouch and a Zipped Pouch. Crafted from vegetable-tanned leather with minimal finishing, each piece is designed to develop a unique patina over time. Reinforcing its longevity-focused philosophy, Mulberry is offering a lifetime manufacturing warranty and care kit with every purchase. The collection launched on April 28 at its Regent Street store and online, with prices ranging from £495 to £2,245.
