Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP and RSS of Spreading Hate and Division in J&K Rally

In a rally held in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological mentor, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), of fostering hatred and division across the country. He alleged that the BJP creates rifts between castes, religions, and regions, including attempts to divide the Pahari and Gujjar communities in the region.

Gandhi emphasized that “hate can only be overcome with love” and vowed that Congress would unite people, ensuring equal rights for all, while criticizing the government’s approach. He stated that the opposition, under the INDIA bloc, counters the BJP’s agenda with love and compassion.

He took a jab at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting that Modi has psychologically weakened after the Lok Sabha results, claiming the opposition’s unity and message of peace has shaken the government’s confidence. Gandhi also criticized the Centre’s decision to divide Jammu and Kashmir into two Union territories.
