Salt Life to Debut First Fragrance Collection Through Revlon Partnership
Iconix has signed a global licensing agreement with Revlon to develop and launch the first-ever fragrance collection for Salt Life, marking the lifestyle brand’s entry into the beauty segment. Under the long-term deal, Revlon will manage the development, production, and worldwide distribution of the Salt Life fragrance portfolio, with the debut collection expected to arrive in 2027. The move also strengthens Revlon’s fragrance licensing business while opening a new growth avenue for Salt Life beyond its established apparel and lifestyle categories.
The initial fragrance range will be inspired by Salt Life’s ocean-driven identity, reflecting the brand’s connection to coastal living and outdoor freedom. Plans are also in place to expand into personal care and related beauty categories in the future. Bob Galvin, Chief Executive Officer of Iconix International, said fragrance is a natural extension of Salt Life’s authentic, ocean-inspired consumer appeal and described Revlon as the ideal partner to bring the brand’s next chapter to life on a global scale.
Founded in 2003 as a coastal apparel label, Salt Life has grown into a broader lifestyle brand with offerings across apparel, swimwear, accessories, home products, hospitality, and beverages. Since becoming part of the Iconix portfolio, the brand has more than doubled in size, supported by wholesale growth, an expanding direct-to-consumer business, and immersive brand experiences. Amber Garrison, President of Fragrances at Revlon, said Salt Life’s outdoor lifestyle positioning aligns strongly with today’s fragrance consumer, creating a significant opportunity to build a modern, aspirational, and globally relevant fragrance portfolio.
