Song Ha-Yoon Faces Bullying Accusations Amid Rising Stardom

In a startling revelation, Song Ha-Yoon, the acclaimed star of the hit K-drama “Marry My Husband,” has been accused of engaging in bullying during her high school years. The allegations surfaced on April 1, when an anonymous individual came forward with claims of being victimized by Song during their high school days, accusing the actress of physical assault. Despite these serious accusations, Song Ha-yoon’s management agency, Kingkong by Starship Entertainment, has staunchly denied the claims, asserting that the actress had no acquaintance with the accuser.

The controversy gained further traction following a report by JTBC’s “Crime Chief,” detailing an incident where Song allegedly summoned the victim to a neighborhood playground and physically assaulted him for an extended period. In response to the agency’s denial of the accusations, the informant insisted on the veracity of their claims, pointing out inconsistencies in the agency’s statement and alleging further contact by Song beyond the incident.

Amidst the growing scandal, more individuals have come forward, echoing similar experiences of bullying attributed to Song Ha-Yoon, including an account of her being expelled from high school due to such behavior. While Kingkong by Starship Entertainment acknowledged an incident involving bullying, it maintained Song’s innocence in the assault. The agency has announced plans to take legal action against the initial informant and the producers of “Crime Chief” for the dissemination of these allegations.
