V.P. Nandakumar Appointed as FICCI Kerala State Council Chairman
V.P. Nandakumar, the Managing Director and CEO of Manappuram Finance Limited, has been elected as the Chairman of the FICCI Kerala State Council. The appointment was announced during the council’s annual meeting held at Le Meridien Hotel in Kochi.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is one of India’s premier business organizations, representing a wide range of industries and trade sectors. Established in 1927 based on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi, it was founded by renowned industrialists G.D. Birla and Purushottamdas Thakurdas. The organization plays a pivotal role in industrial development, business networking, and policy advocacy.
With its headquarters in New Delhi, FICCI has a strong presence across India and overseas, including operations in 12 Indian states and eight countries. Its membership base includes over 2.5 lakh companies through private, public sector enterprises, and regional chambers of commerce.
