Veteran Marathi Actor Atul Parchure Passes Away at 57 After Battle with Cancer

Atul Parchure, a beloved veteran actor in the Marathi entertainment industry, passed away on Monday at the age of 57 following a battle with cancer. Known for his comic timing and versatility, Parchure had a rich body of work in both Marathi and Hindi television and films. His notable projects included “Vasu Chi Sasu,” “Priyatama,” “Navra Mazha Navsacha,” “Partner,” and “Salaam-E-Ishq,” along with a memorable stint on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show.

The actor revealed his cancer diagnosis during a talk show, where he disclosed the discovery of a 5 cm tumor in his liver. He shared how his initial treatment had been mismanaged, worsening his condition and leading to complications with his pancreas. Despite facing severe health challenges, including difficulties walking and speaking, Parchure eventually sought a second opinion, which led to appropriate chemotherapy and treatment.
