Princess Diana’s Iconic Dresses and Royal Memorabilia Head to Auction in Beverly Hills

A remarkable collection of Princess Diana’s fashion and memorabilia is set to go under the hammer at a high-profile auction in Beverly Hills on June 26. Organized by Julien’s Auctions, the event will feature more than 300 items, including several of Diana’s signature outfits. Among the most notable pieces are a cream-coloured evening gown by Catherine Walker from 1986, estimated between $200,000 and $300,000, and a floral dress by Bellville Sassoon from 1988, expected to fetch up to $200,000.

The auction also includes a scarlet ski suit from Diana’s personal wardrobe, with an estimated value of $30,000 to $50,000, and a pink hat designed by John Boyd that the Princess wore during her honeymoon in 1981. Additionally, a sketch of her legendary wedding dress, designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel, will be up for bidding, along with original fabric samples—offering rare glimpses into the style and elegance of the late royal.

Beyond Princess Diana’s belongings, the auction will also feature royal treasures like an antique bracelet that once belonged to Princess Margaret, valued at up to $100,000. A portion of the proceeds from Diana’s memorabilia will be donated to charitable causes, continuing her legacy of compassion. Princess Diana, mother to Princes William and Harry, tragically died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 at the age of 36.
