Arket Teams Up with Artist Evelina Kroon to Support Refugees with Festive Blanket

Swedish fashion brand Arket, part of the H&M Group, is taking a socially conscious approach to the 2025 festive season with a collaboration alongside Stockholm-based artist Evelina Kroon. Together, they are launching an exclusive blanket, with all proceeds supporting the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). For every blanket sold, Arket will donate the equivalent of two thermal blankets to aid displaced families in emergency situations.

The new blanket, designed by Kroon, carries symbolic meaning: home, warmth, and security. “It is a reminder of the bitter reality of others… and represents solidarity within the comfort of our own homes,” Kroon said. Featuring the United Nations’ signature blue, a natural off-white inspired by satellite imagery of operational areas, and soft red tones symbolising compassion and welcome, the design highlights Arket’s commitment to storytelling through Scandinavian heritage and social impact.

This marks the second collaboration between Arket and Kroon, following a 2022 series of colourful blankets produced with Swedish wool mill Klippan. The Arket x Evelina Kroon blanket will be available from December 4, 2025, in selected stores and via the brand’s webshop, reflecting a growing trend of fashion brands engaging with global humanitarian causes.
