Bollywood Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s Brother Aman Preet Singh Arrested in Hyderabad Drugs Case

Aman Preet Singh, brother of Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, was arrested by Hyderabad Police on Monday in connection with an alleged drugs case. The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Department apprehended Aman and four others after discovering 2.6 kilograms of cocaine intended for sale in Hyderabad. The arrested individuals, identified as Aman Preet Singh, Aniketh Reddy, Prasad, Madhusudhan, and Nikhil Daman, are currently in police custody and will be produced in court following a medical examination.

The police team, led by Srinivas, DCP of Cyberabad Police, Rajendra Nagar Zone, busted the drug racket and identified 30 customers of the contraband. “As consumers, we picked up five people and brought them to the police station. In the urine test kit, all of them were found positive. They have been taken into custody and we are now sending them for detailed medical examination,” Srinivas stated. The arrests follow ongoing investigations into drug trafficking and consumption in the region.

Notably, Rakul Preet Singh was previously summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a drug trafficking case in 2021 and 2022. Her statement was recorded last year, along with statements from other celebrities such as Rana Daggubati, Charmme Kaur, Navdeep, Ravi Teja, and Puri Jagannadh. The ED has been investigating this case for the past four years, following the 2017 bust of a high-end drug cartel by Telangana’s Prohibition and Excise Department.
