Father of VIP Chief Mukesh Sahani Brutally Murdered in Bihar
In a shocking incident, Jitan Sahani, the father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, was found brutally murdered at their ancestral home in Bihar’s Darbhanga district. The mutilated body was discovered this morning, sparking panic among local residents. Senior police officer Jagannath Reddy confirmed the incident and said a police team is at the scene, while a three-member Special Investigation Team has been formed to probe the crime.
The initial investigation suggests that the murder occurred during a theft attempt, with Jitan Sahani killed when he resisted. The main opposition party, RJD, strongly criticized the Nitish Kumar government over the incident. RJD spokesperson Shakti Yadav expressed shock, condemning the state of law and order in Bihar, while Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible.
Various political leaders have condemned the murder. Neeraj Kumar of the ruling JDU stated that efforts are underway to locate and bring the culprits to justice. Union Minister Chirag Paswan also condemned the crime, offering condolences to Mukesh Sahani and his family, and assuring that the criminals would be identified and punished.
