Ferretti Family Leads €115 Million Bid to Revive Aeffe
The Ferretti family, the current owner of Italian fashion group Aeffe, has announced a binding offer to relaunch the company following a meeting at Italy’s Ministry of Business and Made-in-Italy (MIMIT). The proposal has been submitted in partnership with Invitalia, investment fund Oxy, and a manufacturing partner from China.
The deal, valued at approximately €115 million, aims to preserve Aeffe’s historic brands, maintain its manufacturing operations, and protect existing jobs. The investors have pledged to continue developing the company’s legacy while ensuring long-term stability for its workforce and business activities.
As part of the agreement, Aeffe’s Chinese manufacturing partner will receive the exclusive license for the Moschino brand in the Chinese market, a move intended to strengthen the label’s presence and accelerate its commercial growth in the region. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, subject to due diligence and final contractual agreements. Investors are set to present their business plan at the next MIMIT meeting on September 28.
