Yeezy Returns to US Retail Through JD Sports

JD Sports Fashion has brought Yeezy footwear back to US physical retail, marking the brand’s first return to brick-and-mortar stores since Adidas ended its partnership with rapper Ye in 2022.

The British sportswear retailer began selling selected Yeezy styles on August 13 through its US website and participating stores. The range includes men’s and women’s slip-ons and a women’s mule, priced between $44 and $108.  JD Sports confirmed to German trade publication Textilwirtschaft that the launch represents Yeezy’s first return to physical retail since the Adidas partnership ended.

Adidas terminated its relationship with Ye in October 2022 following a series of antisemitic remarks. The split left Adidas with a substantial inventory of unsold Yeezy products and contributed to significant financial pressure on the sportswear group. Since then, Yeezy has largely relied on direct-to-consumer sales as Ye continued developing the brand independently.

The JD Sports rollout provides Yeezy with a more conventional retail platform while also highlighting the retailer’s growing US presence. North America became JD Sports’ largest regional market in fiscal 2026, generating £4.78 billion in revenue and accounting for 38% of group sales following its acquisition of Hibbett.
