Futurmoda to Host 171 Companies and 4,000 Trade Visitors
Futurmoda is set to bring together 171 companies on October 14 and 15 at IFA-Fira Alacant in Spain, with the organisers expecting around 4,000 professional visitors. The trade fair will occupy approximately 9,000 square metres and showcase the latest trends for the autumn-winter 2027/2028 season, covering materials, components, accessories, chemicals and machinery for the footwear and leather goods industries.
International participation will remain a key feature, with 44% of exhibiting companies coming from outside Spain and 10 companies making their debut at the event. A new Trend Forum will showcase products organised around key trends, with a focus on sustainable materials and components. Reverse trade missions organised by AEC and Ivace Internacional will also facilitate business connections with buyers from Morocco, Algeria and the United States.
The Experts’ Forum will address topics including training, finance, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, design protection and internationalisation, alongside a round-table discussion on manufacturing in Spain and its competitiveness. Futurmoda will also host the final of the Footwear Design JAM 2026, featuring eight finalists. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for October 14 at noon in Hall 2 of IFA-Fira Alacant.
