Ralph Lauren Launches Fourth ‘Artist in Residence’ Collection with Indigenous Brand Tópa

Ralph Lauren has unveiled the fourth chapter of its ‘Artist in Residence’ programme, partnering with Indigenous-led clothing company Tópa for a Fall/Holiday 2025 collection. The initiative, part of the brand’s ‘Design with Intent’ strategy, aims to deepen authentic collaborations with communities whose heritage has long inspired Ralph Lauren’s designs. Founded by Jocy and Trae Little Sky—award-winning performers, designers and proud members of the Oceti Sakowin alliance—Tópa is celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship rooted in Dakota, Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, Oglala Lakota and Stoney Nakoda traditions.

The new ‘Polo Ralph Lauren x Tópa’ collection blends Tópa’s Indigenous artistry with Polo’s timeless aesthetic, introducing knitted jumpers, cardigans, jackets and accessories featuring Native design motifs. The name “Tópa,” meaning “four” in Oceti Sakowin languages, symbolises the four seasons, four directions and four stages of life, themes represented throughout the collection’s colour palette and patterns. The range is currently available in North America via Ralph Lauren’s website, app and select stores, and will expand globally on November 20. It will also retail through 4Topa4.com and Bloomingdale’s locations in New York and Los Angeles.

A percentage of proceeds from each item will support the Thunder Valley Community Development Corporation’s Lakota language and education initiative. Speaking about the collaboration, co-founder Jocy Little Sky said the partnership honours their community and celebrates cultural pride, adding that they hope it inspires others to embrace their heritage. Previous editions of the ‘Artist in Residence’ programme have included collaborations with Naiomi Glasses, Zefren-M and the Glasses family for Ralph Lauren Home.
